Hello, my name is Jeanie and I’m so thankful you’re taking the time to see who I am and why I do this.

I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment to give you a warm, integrative and collaborative approach to overall wellness, heart healing and solution-focus, future-forward planning.

My goal is to provide you with practical tools and biblical based insight to highlight your path forward and have the quality of life God intended for you to have living in His fullness.

I pride myself in being a compassionate, non-judgmental and approachable with a heart for Jesus and a passion for Ministry.

It is common in the Christian Counseling realm for a counselee to find embarrassment or uncomfortableness in real talk over certain issues, especially ones that address sin. If a Pastoral Counselor is not careful, they can come across as self-righteous, and that is not beneficial for either of us.


No one is righteous (Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23). Here at Luxe Living you will not find any one looking down their nose at you, just sincerity. I live in faith, not perfection, but :

Here is the breakdown.

The need for Christian Counselors is on the rise. The cost keeps rising with it. Each one hour session is $85 and up to $250. Most clients see a counselor once a week. That math hurts my heart.

However, these prices are based on the counselors overhead such as office rent space, required liability insurance, gas, office materials, utilities the Counselors time, and more! Not to mention the original cost for the Counseling Degree, school loans for 7 years of education to get to a Master’s Degree can add up.

So, while the cost may be justified there are some that simply just don’t have the money to see a counselor, and perhaps the situation surrounding their financial situation is the exact reason they need to see a counselor.

The goal of Luxe Living Couture is to raise the money to open a door for qualifying individuals who need help through life coaching and counseling at a reduced cost.

It boils down to this, I want to meet the needs of my community without asking them to pay for their needs to be met, BUT, in addition to overhead, I must be able to feed my kids, buy school supplies, and pay my bills. Working for free is my heart, but it is not practical.

Counseling is not a cure, so why couture to cure?

The reason a person sees a counselor is because either someone else requires it ( court mandated or a loved one’s request), or they themselves want help.

Pastoral Counseling falls into the latter. The person is seeking help, seeking a change, trying to find a cure for what is hurting their hearts. Because Pastoral Counseling is a non-licensed degree, I cannot give legal or medical advice. However, this is more than talk therapy. This is real talk, solution-focused, goal oriented Life Coaching with a purpose.
